Everyone who has ever registered a domain has a few of these.
The business that didn’t happen. The side project you were serious about for a fortnight. The defensive registrations around a brand you no longer use. They auto-renew quietly every year, and the annual total is small enough to ignore and large enough to notice once you add it up across a decade.
Selling them is its own project — marketplace listings, lowball offers, brokers taking a percentage of a number that keeps getting smaller. Donating takes a few minutes at your registrar. You unlock the domain, send us the authorization code, and the renewals stop being your problem.
We take single names and whole portfolios, aged and expiring domains, brandable and generic names, and any extension — .com through .io, .org, .co, .app and the rest. Names that sell fund education and training programs, and support partner organizations abroad who can do a great deal with a modest amount of money. A domain sitting unused costs you every year and does nothing; put to work once, it pays for something real.

Four steps, and we do three of them
The only part that needs you is a few clicks at your registrar.
1
You send the list
Paste the names into the form. You don’t need to value them or sort them — send the whole list, including the ones you think are worthless.
2
We tell you which we can use
Within two business days. Some names sell, some don’t, and we’ll be straight with you about which are which rather than taking everything and quietly dropping them.
3
You unlock and send the code
Turn off the registrar lock, disable privacy if it blocks transfer, and send us the authorization code. We initiate from our side.
4
Your paperwork arrives
A receipt once the transfer completes, then documentation of what the names realized for your deduction.
Questions people ask us about domains
How do I actually transfer a domain?
Unlock it at your registrar, turn off privacy protection if that blocks the transfer, and send us the authorization or EPP code. We initiate from our side and you approve. It takes a few minutes of your time; the registrars then take a few days between them.
Do you only want premium .com names?
No. Short brandables and aged .coms are the easiest to place, but generic phrases, niche keyword names and the newer extensions all find buyers. Send the whole list and we’ll tell you honestly which ones have a market.
What if a domain expires soon?
Tell us right away and don’t let it lapse while you’re deciding. Domains inside the renewal window are still transferable, but an expired name enters redemption and gets expensive to recover. If a renewal is days away, call rather than email.
Can I donate a domain with a live website or traffic?
Yes, and existing traffic or revenue usually makes a name considerably more valuable. Tell us what’s attached — hosting, email addresses in use, an active audience — so nothing important is switched off unexpectedly.
What about a whole portfolio?
Very welcome, and easier for us than a single name. Paste in the list however you have it, spreadsheet export and all. If you’re winding down a portfolio built over years, one conversation can deal with the lot.
What can I deduct?
Generally fair market value, and we document what was received and what the names realized. Domains are harder to value than most gifts — registrar appraisals and automated estimates are not evidence the IRS accepts. Above $5,000 a qualified independent appraisal is required, arranged and paid for by you.
