Donating ends it in one conversation. We handle transport from wherever it’s parked — storage yard, driveway, side lot, a relative’s field — and we deal with the facility directly if you’d rather not. Collection is at our cost, and the paperwork for your deduction follows afterward.

A sound, clean rig is genuinely useful to us: some go on to serve as temporary shelter for families between homes and as mobile bases for partner organizations working in places with no building to work from, and the rest are sold to keep people moving — fuel, repairs and fares for households where losing transportation means losing the job too.

You tell us about it
Type, rough length and year, and where it’s parked. Mention anything you already know is wrong with it — soft floor, roof leak, dead engine.

We confirm and plan transport
Within two business days. Length, weight and how the rig sits determine the right truck, so we check access before booking.

We collect it
From storage, driveway or field. If it’s in a paid facility we coordinate release directly so you can stop the billing.

Your paperwork arrives
A receipt at collection, then the tax form once the RV is sold or placed.
Questions people ask us about RVs
Does it need to be roadworthy?
It needs to be worth moving. A rig that runs and is dry inside is straightforward. One with a dead engine but a sound body is often still workable. Where we usually have to say no is water damage — a soft floor, delaminated walls or a long-standing roof leak can cost more to deal with than the RV will ever return. Tell us honestly what you know and we’ll give you a straight answer quickly.
It’s in a storage facility racking up fees. Can you deal with them?
Yes, and this is the most common situation we see. Give us the facility name and your account details and we coordinate release and collection directly with them, so the billing stops as soon as possible.
Do you take pop-ups, truck campers and toy haulers?
Yes, along with all three motorhome classes, travel trailers and fifth wheels. Smaller campers are easy to move and consistently useful, so don’t assume yours is too modest to matter.
What if the title is missing or the rig is unregistered?
Usually solvable. Trailers and campers have different titling rules than motorhomes, and rules vary by state. Tell us where it’s registered and what paperwork you have, and our team will walk you through replacing what’s missing.
Should I clear out my belongings first?
Please do — anything personal, plus propane tanks if they’re yours to keep. Bedding, cookware and camping gear left inside are welcome and often go straight to a family using the rig, so there’s no need to strip it bare.
What can I deduct?
For most RVs it’s the sale price, which we send you in writing. Where a rig is placed directly into service rather than sold, fair market value may apply. RVs very often clear $5,000, and above that the IRS requires a qualified independent appraisal arranged and paid for by the donor — so plan for that from the start.
